Cocktails by night, coffee by morning

Chief’s Modern Cocktail Parlor is a casual cocktail lounge in a historic NoDa mill home with seasonal beverages crafted by our talented beverage team. Friday through Sunday mornings, we serve coffee and espresso sourced from local Charlotte roaster, Night Swim Coffee, with light breakfast items made in-house & pastries from Ashik Bakery, a small batch neighborhood baker.

  • Step into our cocktail parlor any time—reservations are available, but not required. Take a seat, relax, and let us lead you through a curated cocktail experience. Whether you're grabbing a drink before or after dinner at The Goodyear House, or plan to hang for the night, our crew is happy to have you. If you walk-in and we don't have any seats, we will add you to our wait list and call you when a table is available.

Our neighborhood cocktail parlor in the heart of NoDa (next to The Goodyear House), offers elevated cocktails, small plates by Chef Chris Coleman, and first-class service in a relaxed, nostalgic atmosphere.

The intimate space–thoughtfully restored to reflect the design of a home that frequently hosts dinner and cocktail parties–offers a unique blend of past & present that invites folks to slow down & savor the finer things. We'd love to host your event! Between our indoor space and patio, we are perfect for small to mid-size gatherings featuring cocktails, beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvres or small plates. If you're hosting a wedding next door at The Goodyear House, book Chief's as a bridal suite to get ready for or take breaks during your big day.
